ColorChecker.

A low-cost color measurement instrument for liquids.

ColorChecker is normally used for off-line measurements, similar to a pH meter: The operator dips the probe into the dyebath to be measured and, a few seconds later, the color values (L, a, b, strength) are displayed. A comparison with reference values (e.g. a lab dyeing or a previous bulk batch) will indicate whether or not there is any significant deviation. ColorChecker is a key tool for achieving 'Blind dyeing'.
